Morning circle starts the day as the children listen to stories, talk with friends, play games, dance and sing. Letters, rhymes, and book experiences are integrated throughout the morning to develop the child’s language and literacy skills. Sorting, counting and number recognition skills are practiced through play and music activities. Handwriting readiness is fostered through songs, games and manipulatives. Social relationships are nurtured during circle time and center play. Snack and outdoor play time complete the morning. Learning about Jesus, our friend, is the focus of our non-denominational bible program.
